A Message to The 20-Somethings Finding Their Beat

Happy Monday, friends!

I hope that you enjoyed last week's blog posts and that this one finds you well. :)

Today I want to share some words of encouragement to those living in their roaring twenties trying to figure life out. I know it's challenging, but I guess that's what makes it both exciting and terrifying at the same time. Just know that you're not alone and that I created this blog for the purpose of navigating it together.

Always remember that you’re exactly where you need to be and that your journey is different from everyone else's, including your friends and the people you see online. Comparison can lead us to frustration, desperation, and lack of motivation. Understanding that you're a unique individual is the first step in realizing that your journey is just as unique as you are and it will take its own time. Enjoy it and make the most of it.

When it comes to other people's successes, try to change your perspective. Instead of envying these people, be happy for them. As an alternative of getting frustrated by their accomplishments, be motivated by them. Rather than wondering why they seem to be ahead, remind yourself that everything takes its own time. In place of wishing for them to fail, support them in any way you can, for whatever you wish for others, will find its way back to you.

We are more than capable of living the life we long for, but it takes planning, hard work, and commitment, among other things. If you still don’t have a clear vision of what that looks like, you’re not alone. Trust me. That’s what our twenties are for and perhaps even beyond our twenties, to figure it out. Like I mentioned before, we’re all in different paths and each has its own time frame. I can't stress that enough!

Meanwhile, explore your interests, talents, abilities, and most importantly, yourself. Visualize the life you want to live and think about how you're going to get there. Enjoy the wonders and struggles of life as they come along and don't be afraid of failure, for each failure is an opportunity to learn and grow.

There will be setbacks, obstacles, change of course, and probably people who doubt you, but none of them can determine who you are and what you're going to do with your life. How you react to them and how you overcome them will. Always keep that in mind.

I hope that with every blog post you read here you feel inspired, entertained, or driven to allow yourself a moment of reflection. If there's anything you want me to write about, don't hesitate to reach out. Remember, we're here to support each other and get to know one another as we find our beat and dance to the rhythm of life...together! :)

Have a great week, friends!

It's important to identify what you want. It takes focus and work hard to achieve it. Let nothing and no one deviate you from the path to your goal. Believe in yourself and value yourself! Tell yourself everyday "I CAN" because You Can.
